My  altime likes are always books ,songs ,ships horses and needlework….So imagine what….. I was thrilled extremely when I and my friend visited a floating bookfair .. guess where.. in a ship.Though I really a crazy bookworm(plus collector) I just cudnt seem to get  enough to  enjoy much at sea side. The sound of the seawaves breaking on to its hull creating a gentle tapping on sound , that feel… was so great that I cudnt even feel the chill in this beautiful moderately cold weather in Dubai at the moment. And to add to my joy just .. 10 feet away was docked Queen Elizabeth 2 … permanently docked.. both the ships face to face. But sadly enough I wasnt allowed to take fotos… sigh.

My Xmas 2010

Oh Well.I am a very busy housewife juggling between work ,2 kids and other aged and unaged family members at home. Now I am in a open house and that is how I got this wee little time for my favourite blog. When I have the time , my muse wudnt be free, and when I am not  free- which rarely is- my muse keeps suggesting threads for interesting words to jot down-So why coudnt the people who invented blog  attach a muse to it- lol- Then ofcourse what are we all here for?..

I think i am almost complete for xmas – so sad with 2 more days to xmas we are still working. My xmas goodies are all over and I have to start all the baking now atleast today evening.Well letme relieve myself thinking of the gifts for kids, all wrapped and ready, and other house decor..Dont want to be the wailing wife all the time- After all it is Xmas the season of good cheer.So.. Merry X mas and Happy New Year to ALL

My re-entry

Well,it took me this long to be back on blog again.

It is always work work and work.Looks like all this work and no play has made me dull like little Tommy. The Christmas season approachingwe had a large scale spring cleaning at home.

We bought a new cot  which had to be fixed on our own-which my husband gladly agreed to.Looks like men get as much joy in fixing tinings and carpentry as much as women get from baking a cake.Well this lasted longer with all the swedish technology and the umpteen number of screws, the cot was finally successfully fixed in about half a days time with 4 large drawers waiting to fill up our well preserved junk.

Well men in action is awonderful  sight at home-they bother you less ( or at times more even when working)-

Talking about endless junk I wonder how they dont get spoiled inspite of all the rough throwing around and what needs to be well kept- believe me…. they just dont last
